How do I start a commission?

What details do I need to provide?

Please include: character references or descriptions, desired service type (Rendered Illustration, Chibi, Splash Art, etc.), composition (bust-up, half-body, full-body), background preferences, deadline requirements, and how you plan to use the artwork. The more information you provide, the better we can bring your vision to life.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept PayPal, Bank Transfer, and Wise. Commissions under $150 USD require full payment upfront. Commissions of $150 USD or above require a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the balance due after sketch approval.

How long does a typical commission take?

Accepted Answer

Standard turnaround is 1–4 weeks for single characters, 2–8 weeks for complex pieces. Timeline begins after payment and sketch approval. Rush delivery is available at an additional fee, subject to availability.

Question 5

How many revisions are included in the commission process?

Accepted Answer

During the rough sketch phase, unlimited revisions and major changes are allowed — this is the best time to shape your vision. After sketch approval (the Initial Visual Agreement), 3 free minor revisions are included. Additional minor revisions beyond the included amount are $10 each. Major changes after sketch approval require a Change Order with written confirmation and may incur additional charges.

What if I'm not satisfied with the initial sketches?

We encourage you to use the unlimited revision window during the rough sketch phase — this is the best time to shape your vision. We'll work with you to understand your concerns and make adjustments. If we're unable to meet your expectations, we can discuss additional revision options or other solutions.

Can I cancel a commission in progress?

Accepted Answer

For commissions under $150, the full upfront payment covers preliminary work and is non-refundable after sketch approval. For commissions of $150 or above, the 50% deposit is non-refundable as it covers preliminary work. If you need to cancel before sketch approval, we can discuss options. After the sketch is approved (the Initial Visual Agreement), no refunds are issued as this is the production lock-in point.

Do you work with international clients?

Yes — we work with clients worldwide and provide all communication in English. Our pricing is in USD, and we're experienced in working across different time zones to ensure smooth collaboration.

What if I need my commission for commercial use?

Accepted Answer

We offer commercial licensing options. Personal use is included by default, but commercial rights require additional licensing: Indie/Small Creator (+75% monetized, +100% merch only, +125% both), Medium Business (+150%), Corporate (+200%), or Enterprise/Custom (starting +300%) of the base commission price. All licenses are perpetual, worldwide, and non-exclusive by default.

How do you handle confidential or NDA-required projects?

We're happy to accommodate privacy and confidentiality needs. Private Commission (no portfolio display) is available for +15% of base price. No-Credit (no attribution required) is +15%. Full NDA (non-disclosure agreement) is +25%. Please mention privacy or NDA requirements in your initial commission request.

We offer 7 active service types: HSR-style Rendered Illustrations (bust-up to full-body, $35–$70), HSR-style Chibi ($25–$35), HSR-style Splash Art ($150–$250), ZZZ-style Chibi ($25–$35), HSR-style Expressive Emotes ($22–$175), HSR-style Reference Sheets ($95–$185), and ZZZ-style Avatar YCH icons ($20). Each service is tailored to the Hoyoverse visual language.

What's your specialization in Hoyoverse-inspired art?

We specialize exclusively in the visual language of Honkai: Star Rail, Genshin Impact, and Zenless Zone Zero. Our artists train specifically in these styles — the lighting, composition, material rendering, and character design philosophy that make Hoyoverse characters so distinctive.

Can you create emotes for Twitch/Discord?

Yes! We create HSR-style expressive emotes. Single emotes start at $22, with value bundles available: set of 5 for $95, or set of 10 for $175. All emotes are delivered platform-ready and optimized for visibility at small sizes.
