About Us
We're a small illustration studio in Indonesia. We draw characters in the Honkai: Star Rail, Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero styles, mostly for VTubers, fans and indie studios.
OUR STORY
Chrientmip was founded on October 29, 2018, as an independent fan-made merchandise circle based in Bandung, Indonesia. We started out at anime and pop culture events like Comic Frontier and AFA, and grew up alongside that convention scene.
In 2022 we opened illustration commissions for anime-style artwork. It went well enough that illustration became the main thing we do.
In 2023 we stopped taking commissions for a while. We wrote our workflows down, settled the house style, and moved the merch side into a sister company so the studio could focus on illustration.
In May 2024 we registered the company, PT Merchia Studio Kreasi, and reopened commissions later that year. These days we only draw in the Honkai: Star Rail, Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero styles, for clients all over the world, and every commission goes through the same staged process where you approve each step.

First commissions
Opened illustration commissions alongside the merch work.
Pause & Rebuild
Closed commissions for a while to write our SOPs and settle the house style. The merch operation moved to a sister company.
PT Merchia Studio Kreasi
Registered the company in May 2024 and reopened commissions later that year.
Chrient & Mip
Introduced the studio mascots, Chrient and Mip, and took on more clients from outside Indonesia.
