HOW IT WORKS

Every commission follows the same transparent, milestone-gated workflow. You approve the direction at each checkpoint before the work moves forward — no surprises, ever.

  1. Inquiry

    Day 1

    Reach out through VGen, Discord, or email with your idea. Share references, the character, intended use, budget, and any deadline — the more detail, the faster we can scope it.

  2. Brief & Quote

    1–2 business days

    We review your request and reply with a detailed quote covering scope, complexity, licensing, timeline, and any add-ons. Nothing moves forward until you're happy with the numbers.

  3. Booking & Payment

    On confirmation

    Confirm your slot with payment: full payment upfront for commissions under $150, or a 50% deposit for $150 and above. Your project is officially queued once payment is confirmed.

  4. Sketch & Visual Agreement

    First milestone

    We explore rough sketches with unlimited revisions until the visual direction feels right. Major changes — pose, composition, concept — are encouraged here. Your approval locks in the art direction.

  5. Production Milestones

    Stage by stage

    The piece moves through Clean Sketch, Lineart & Base Color, Render, and Export & QA. You receive watermarked progress updates at each stage, with structured revision windows along the way.

  6. Final Payment & Delivery

    On approval

    For commissions of $150 or more, the remaining balance is due after sketch approval. Once fully paid, you receive the final high-resolution files together with licensing documentation.

  7. Aftercare

    7 days included

    Need a resize or a different format after delivery? Minor assistance is free within 7 days of delivery — just ask.

Revision windows

Revisions follow a structured window system, so you always know what kind of change is possible at each stage. The full policy lives in our Terms of Service.

Window A — Rough Sketch

Unlimited revisions. The best time for big direction changes.

Window B — Clean Sketch

Major revisions within the approved direction, plus minor tweaks.

Window C — Lineart / Color / Render

3 free minor revisions included (colors, expressions, small additions).

Window D — Polish

Minor adjustments only — cleanup and small fixes.
