Most personal commissions land between $25 and $70, and showcase pieces between $95 and $250. Send your idea through the commission form and you'll get an exact, flat quote within 48 business hours. Quotes are free and don't commit you to anything.

What services do you offer, and what are the starting prices?

Seven services, all in the Hoyoverse-inspired style: Rendered Illustrations ($35–$70), Chibi ($25–$35), Splash Art ($150–$250), ZZZ-style Chibi ($25–$35), Expressive Emotes ($22–$175), Reference Sheets ($95–$185), and Avatar YCH icons ($20). Full details and examples are on the commission page.

How does payment work?

Accepted Answer

We accept PayPal, bank transfer, and Wise, in USD, and we work with clients worldwide. Commissions under $150 are paid in full to secure your queue slot. Commissions of $150 or more start with a 50% deposit, and the balance is due after you approve the sketch.

Can I cancel a commission and get a refund?

Before work begins, a full refund is available. Once you approve the sketch (the Initial Visual Agreement), payments become non-refundable, since that's the point where production locks in. If we're ever unable to fulfill a commission, you get a full refund — or a proportional one if we have to cancel partway through.

How do I start a commission?

Reach out through VGen, Discord, or email with your idea. Share references, the character, intended use, budget, and any deadline — the more detail, the faster we can scope it.

What details should I include in my inquiry?

Character references or descriptions, the service you want, composition (bust-up, half-body, full-body), background preferences, deadline, and how you plan to use the artwork. The more information you provide, the faster and more accurate your quote will be.

How long will my commission take?

Accepted Answer

Lead times range from 3–5 business days for avatar icons up to 14–21 business days for splash art and reference sheets. Lead time starts after payment confirmation and is in addition to the current queue. Priority and rush delivery are available — mention your deadline in the inquiry.

Do you work with international clients?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we work with clients worldwide and communicate in English. Pricing is in USD, and we're used to coordinating across time zones.

What if I don't like the initial sketch?

Accepted Answer

The sketch phase exists so this never becomes a problem: revisions and direction changes are unlimited before you approve the sketch, and we don't start final rendering until you're happy with it.

How many revisions are included after I approve the sketch?

Accepted Answer

3 free minor revisions are included during rendering — things like color adjustments, expression tweaks, or accessory repositioning. Extra minor revisions beyond that are $10 each.

Question 11

What's the difference between a minor and a major revision?

Accepted Answer

Minor: color adjustments, expression tweaks, accessory repositioning, small prop additions. Major: pose changes, composition restructures, outfit redesigns, or adding or removing characters.

Can I request major changes after I've approved the sketch?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but it's handled as a Change Order — a formal scope change that needs written confirmation and comes with an adjusted cost and timeline, since it affects work already completed.

Who owns the rights to my finished artwork?

Accepted Answer

Chrientmip Studio retains copyright to all artwork; you purchase a usage license, not the copyright itself. Personal use is included by default — social media, avatars, personal printing — with attribution to Chrientmip (@chrientmip).

Can I use the art commercially or on my stream?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with a commercial license on top of the base price: Indie/Small Creator (+75% monetized, +100% merch, +125% both), Medium Business (+150%), Corporate (+200%), or Enterprise/Custom (from +300%). All licenses are perpetual, worldwide, and non-exclusive by default. Mention commercial use in your inquiry and your quote will include the license.

Can my commission stay private or under NDA?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A Private Commission (+15%) keeps the artwork out of our portfolio and social media. No-Credit (+15%) waives the attribution requirement. A full NDA (+25%) adds a formal non-disclosure agreement for legally binding confidentiality. Just mention it in your inquiry.

Question 16

Are there any restrictions on how I can use the artwork?

Accepted Answer

Commissioned artwork can't be used for AI/machine learning training, sold as an NFT, resold as-is, or re-licensed to third parties without written consent. Modifying it, misrepresenting authorship, or using it in harmful contexts is also prohibited.
